From June 9-12, Islington Golf Club welcomed Rory McIlroy and the RBC Canadian Open field to our golf course. As a proud partner club of the 2022 tournament, Islington Golf Club provided the official practice facilities for the tournament's golfers. And what an absolute thrill it was to watch Rory prepare at our course and then head up the street to St. George's Golf and Country Club for his thrilling repeat victory.

The week kicked off with the Golf Canada Foundation Celebrity Pro-Am. We spotted Curtis Joseph, Nick Nurse and Russell Martin among the pro and amateur golfers in the Pro-Am spending time at our first tee driving range.

The RBC Canadian Open golfers arrived ahead of Thursday's first round and our practice facilities were hopping. The field included fan favourites Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Tony Finau, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose, Cameron Smith and Canadians Corey Conners, Adam Hadwin, Mackenzie Hughes, David Hearn and Mike Weir.
